Earlier in her career Honor worked as a fundraiser for political candidates and nonprofits, at The White House and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Honor is active with St. John’s Community Services, a 148-year-old organization dedicated to supporting people with disabilities, and the Chevy Chase Historical Society.
